Discussion of the Week: If You Could Take Charge of One Artist's Career, Who Would It Be and Why?

 

Happy Monday, MusicHeads! Was there ever any artist's that made you say, "What a great talent, but who on Earth is in charge of his/her management?" So often we see talented artists make horrible decisions in terms of their sound, or how they want their image to be perceived in the public eye. The most highlighted example that comes to mind is Miley Cyrus. I would post a picture of her as an example, but you can't seem to find one nowadays without her tongue hanging out, so I'll pass. She can actually sing, and pretty well, might I add. But who really remembers that about her anymore, now that's she's went out of her way to make her image appear more "provocative." I believe that she needs someone in her camp to set her straight and tell her that she's setting herself up to be nothing more than the butt (or lack thereof) of a joke.
